| Note | For the technically prescribed preparation of substrates when installing underfloor (surface) heating and cooling. This type of laminated film, combining AL foil with 2 mm expanded polyethylene, provides far GREATER SOUND AND THERMAL INSULATION EFFECTS compared to the previous ones: PE film (cat. no. 03-40) and AL FOIL-SOLFEX (cat. no. 03-41). It protects EPS styrofoam boards from mechanical damage and moisture penetration into the screed, as prescribed by ISO/DIN standards. It releases static electricity caused by fluid flow and evens out heat transfer to the substrate. |
| Characteristics | Made of expanded polyethylene (PE) laminated with AL foil and printed on one side with a grid pattern: solid lines at 100×100 mm and dashed lines at 50 mm, allowing installers to work quickly and precisely without a measuring tape. PE-X and AL-PEX pipes are fixed to the substrate through this film with the POLY clamp (cat. no. 03-09) using the POLY TACKER tool (cat. no. 03-22). Joints between EPE 2 film sheets are sealed with AL adhesive tape. |
